What should we wear?

Soft neutrals and earth tones — cream, taupe, sage, warm white, dusty blue — photograph beautifully against red rock and hold up over the years. Skip large logos and small busy patterns, which pull the eye away from faces.
The movement matters more than people expect. A dress, a longer skirt, an open shirt or a light scarf gives the desert wind something to do, and wind is one of the few things you cannot fake in a photograph.
