Most of what people want to know before booking comes down to timing, cost and what the hour actually feels like. Everything below is answered plainly — and if your question is not here, send a message and it will be answered by Melyssa rather than a form reply.
Newborn, maternity, family and couples sessions, plus lifestyle and portrait work. Sessions take place outdoors across the Las Vegas valley, in your home, or in studio for newborns.
At least two weeks, and further ahead in spring, fall and the holidays when golden-hour dates fill first. For maternity, book during your second trimester. For newborns, reserve a rough window during your third trimester and confirm the exact date once the baby arrives.
Maternity $350, newborn $450, family $500, couples $350. Each includes the session, full direction on the day and a private online gallery of professionally edited high-resolution images.
Once you book, a style guide comes to you. In short — neutral tones, soft textures, and coordinated rather than matching outfits photograph beautifully. Melyssa is always happy to look at options before the day.
Outdoors, in studio, in your home, or somewhere chosen together. Red Rock Canyon, Floyd Lamb Park, Springs Preserve, the dry lake bed and local neighborhood parks are the most-used locations, and Melyssa will recommend one that fits your style and the season.
Maternity, newborn and couples sessions run one hour. Family sessions run two, which leaves room for children to settle in, for breaks, and for a change of scene.
A fully edited online gallery arrives within one to two weeks of the session. You can download the images at full resolution and share them from there.
The session moves. Las Vegas gives us more usable days than most places, but wind and rain happen, and rescheduling costs nothing.
Sessions cover Las Vegas and the surrounding valley — Summerlin, Henderson, North Las Vegas, Spring Valley, Enterprise, Paradise and the Red Rock, Blue Diamond and Anthem communities. For anywhere further out, just ask.
Usually yes, at locations that allow it. Mention it when you book so the timing and the spot can account for it.
